5 Stars all the way. I'm so glad we discovered Taqueria el Corazon! Our cocktails and meals were absolutely A-mazing! I was blown away at how indescribably delicious the homemade tortillas were and how well-balanced all of the flavors melted together with every mouthful. All of the ingredients were fresh and delightfully paired. With each bite I was transported back to the Southeast USA where I was frequently able to find authentic Mexican food. We discussed our pleasure with the bartender, and discovered the recipes are authentic family recipes carried all the way from Mexico. Well done to all of the staff and to the owners for being part of such a wonderful place tucked in the middle of the Kootenays. We will definitely be back!
This is the best Mexican street food you can get this side of the border. The food and drinks were great. The homemade tortillas were perfect. We talked about how delicious they were all night. We'll definitely be back!
Delicious food and amazing prices. Good for lunch, but tables fill up fast. Best tacos I've ever eaten. I recommend the tinga taco.
Given the location, surprisingly authentic Mexican food and funky interior, plus a great patio for the summer. A touch on the pricey side, but understandable given the high standard of scene for the location.
The food was delicious and super filling. We thought we'd need to order more tacos but they were made with such great ingredients that we couldn't fit more if we tried! Would definitely eat here again.
