Stopped by to feast after a long weekend of backcountry hiking. The food did the trick, great burgers!! They also had a good selection of BC beers and a great environment and wicked view off the balcony! They were out of quite a few items, and didn't carry the local beer ... which is perplexing, but all-around good experience.
I was at Jazz fest this weekend and went to the Kaslo Motel after the show tonight for a drink with my friend. Everybody seemed very nice there and it was a very positive atmosphere. However, I was escorted out by an older male at the bar for no apparent reason, I did not enter the bar intoxicated and was not causing any disturbance. I am sure the establishment is very good however my one experience there was very poor and put a damper on the entire weekend so I would not recommend going there.
While the rooms were a little pricier than you might expect in a small town like Kaslo, they really do give you your money's worth - the rooms are very large and nicely decorated in a retro modern style, with a gorgeous view of the lake and a big balcony. Plus, the tub was huge and the beds were comfy. Both of the ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again!
Nice, clean and older looking pub boasting some great views. Service staff friendly and attentive. I had the Quinoa salad for lunch and it was quite good and the size was adequate.
Nice atmosphere, very cozy. The server had great recommendations and everything we tried was delicious. we we're disappointed they were out of a few yummy sounding items but understandable for a remote mountain town!
