This is the most wonderful place. It's clean, cozy, quiet and the grounds are beautiful. The owners are kind and thoughtful. My husband and I thourgly enjoyed our stay and will come back. I recommend it!
Although I wasnt able to fulfill my booking, Debra was AMAZING!!!!!! I have severe anxiety on the phone and Debra accommodated me by having all correspondence through email as well as making any arrangements with external companies for extra activities. Out of all the places I have contacted, Debra was the only one who wasnt rude within the first email and even though I couldnt book, they were still warm and polite. I hope to stay here in the future.
Adults only, cute AF bungalows run by the sweetest owners. Website pictures are real, the views are breathtaking and the cabins are out of a fairy tale. The entire property is just...relaxing and very private.There's a cute orchard with many fruit trees and walking access to the Kootenay Lake with nobody else around. Also, there's a cute creek that runs through the property and into the lake. Spa service is available too.Each bungalow has it's own lounging deck area to watch the changing shades of the mountains as time slowly passes by. Inside there's a kitchen so you could make your own meals and a shower tub and fireplace for relaxing, romantic nights.Now the owners- Debbie and Kevin run the place and are absolutely wonderful host and great people. Kevin's always smiling and Debbie is just a sweetheart.Stayed here 2 yrs ago when we decided to last minute elope but only sqeezed in 1 night without getting a chance to enjoy it. We always wanted to come back and stay longer. So glad we came back for honeymoon 2.0, well worth it. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.It may be a bit pricier than other accommodations and further from busier Nelson but nothing comes close in comparison for aesthetics. That's if you're into having your own slice of Kootenay heaven. (Post pictures soon)
Wing Creek is one of my favorite places to stay. The owners are some of the kindest souls I have come across in my travels and the accommodations are top notch. I had to work remotely for part of my stay, and the wifi was reliable and the provided common space was comfortable and relaxing. I can't recommended this place now highly.
Wing Creek Resort is a little slice of heaven. Deb and Kevin are wonderful hosts, and they do everything they can to make sure that your stay is perfect. Kevin keeps the cabins spotless and well-stocked, and Deb helped us book excursions in the area (Lardeau River Adventures & Kokanee Mountain Ziplines). We wouldn't have changed a single thing about our trip - except that we would have loved to stay longer! A true hidden gem.
